Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I went to the ER because I was having pain, vomiting, shortness of breath and abdominal distention. The ER doctor requested a CT of the abdomen and pelvis performed to see if it was my gallbladder. The only findings noted by the radiologist is the following: Lung bases: Thickening along the left major fissure is partially visualized. Bibasilar dependent atelectasis is identified. Scarring is present within the lingual. Subpleural nodularity is seen abutting the right middle lobe.
Does this require further investigation?
