I woke up Thursday morning with my right eye extremely swollen and red. I went to the eye doctor who did an exam and said it was pink eye. He gave me antibiotic eye drops to use four times a day in both eyes because he said it would probably spread to my left eye within a day or two. I have been using the eye drops and it hasn't spread to my left eye. My right eye isn't any better on Sunday evening. It is still red and very swollen. Now my entire eye socket area hurts. even my cheekbone hurts. Is this just viral pinkeye or should I go back to the doctor?
