IN OCTOBER i STARTED USING SPIRIVA RESPIMAT. oNE MONTH LATER COULD NOT BREATHOR SPEAK. i USED MY MED ALERT BUT COULD NOT TELL THEM ANYTHING . i FINALLY GOT ENOUGH BREATH TO PREVENT DYING. BY THE TIME THEY ARRIVED i HAD TURNED BLUE AND MY EYES WERE BULGING. i WAS RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL BUT WAS BREATHING BETTER BY THEN. aBOUT TWO WEEKS LATER IT HAPPENED AGAIN BUT i HAD PASSED OUT WHEN THEY ARRIVED AND WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE HOSPITAL. mY REGULAR DOCTOR DIDN;T CHANGE ANY MEDS but i was put on oxygen by the hospital doctor. I have COPD, A FIB CHF ASTHMAANDother health problems. I aman 85 year oldfemale. I read an article that said the inhaler could cause swelling of the throat, tongue and other things. If this happens again I could be dead before help arrives. I live alone. What do you suggest?
