IS Pulsating Sensation Inside Elbow Symptoms Of Arthritis?
I am 61 years old, 213 lbs, 5 foot 2 in. History of arthritis and joint problems in general. My thumb (or bottom of it) has been hurting me alot. Tonight it turned blue at the bottom (near the wrist area). Then, it went away. (I had been using a staple puller a great deal at work today.) But it was very painful. I have a different problem in my left arm--it suddenly stiffens for no apparent reason (perhaps when I raise it) and then I see something pulsating on inside of elbow area.
First I will advise to do x ray and rule out any arthritis of finger bones. According to your history it looks that there is possibility of strictures leading to stiffness.
Physiotherapy with ultrasound, wax bath and Tens will help you, Exercises should be continued. For early healing you can take Tab celin [vit C] Yes you should consult doctor and physiotherapist.
If there is no relief them you may need to do MRI.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
Take care.
