IVF. Slight Cramping On And Off. Chances Of Pregnancy?

Hi, I was pregnant last march but unfortunately there was no heart beat by the second month. My husband and I decided to try IVF. I am today 10 days after transfer. My question is: during my first pregnancy I had terrible period pains even before I knew I was pregnant and it continued for a couple of weeks. Now with the IVF, there is a slight cramping that is on and off...does that mean it didn't work and I am not pregnant?

Hello
Thanks for your query.
Since you have had the embryos transferred into the uterine cavity, some amount of cramping off and on is common.
Do not read much into it.
There is NO predictor that exists that will tell you if you are pregnant or not, fretting over symptoms will increase your anxiety.
The only reliable way to know whether you are pregnant or not is to have a positive / negative blood HCG test.
So wait until then, and take the medications as prescribed.
take care
