Hello

In my opinion, a person with aided 6/6 vision in both eyes can not be considered to be having 50% blindness. You should stop looking at this situation as blindness. This type of changes in the vision are not necessarily congenital. They are due to some altered development of the eye during the pre-natal stage. The chances of getting such type of errors in the children of such patients are high but the condition is treatable, so there is no need to worry.

Regards
