If The Left Arm Hurts Bad In The Triceps, Is It Due To Pinching Nerve?

Hello, I have a herniated disc at C3 and was told years ago that it was pinching on a nerve that is causing my right arm to have pain, and my middle, ring, and pinky fingers on my right hand to get numb and tingle. I had bilateral carpule tunnel, had surgery on the right hand, and was fine until this accident in the grocer when I was hit in the back with a milk crate full of milk that fell off a pallet of crates. Lately my left arm has been hurting so bad in the triceps, now in the forearm, Is this also related or is this something new going on??

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
hi,

thank you for providing the brief history of you.

As you mentioned you had a past history of cervical spine degenerative disc disease and a recent accident where you were hit from back, i will advice to under go a neurological and orthopedic assessment which a physical therapist can help you as well, to see what are the causing factors. Also, the next line will be undergoing an MRI of the cervical spine to see the soft tissues within.

Post that performing physical therapy will help you regain the strength and reduction in pain will also be there.

Also, i have personally seen cases with CTS, Disc pathology and shoulder injury all together - cases have responded well with physical therapy. I wish the same for you.
