Ihave Been Suffering For The Past Week With Sharp Intermittent

Ihave been suffering for the past week with sharp intermittent pains in the left ear and head. The top of my scalp is sensitive to touch. My throat and neck both hurt on the left side. I am an adult back in school with no insurance. I went to a clinic and the dr. said he wanted my head checked. They did a scan, no blood tests, didn't look in my ear which hurts and assumed it was trigeminal neuralgia. I had a pituitary tumor that was removed in 2003 with no problems until now. I need to function to continue school and think this was too quick of a diagnosis. The pressure in my head hurts when I go to the bathroom and often when I move. The moving makes me think it has something to do with my equilibrium. Bending over hurts immensely. The E/R did a cat scan. Are cat scans always accurate. I am not a hypochondriac.
