Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I'm 34 weeks pregnant and have what I believe are 4th degree hemorrhoids. There are 2 hemorrhoids that are prolapsed and I cannot get them to go back inside. I saw my OB, who said they had clots. This OB also said I don't need to try to push them in, and gave me an rx for analpram, telling me to try that along with hot (not warm) baths for a week before talking about other options. Does this sound right? I thought prolapsed thrombosed hemorrhoids were dangerous and/or needed immediate intervention?
