Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I'm 40 years of age and recently noticed a small [grape-sized] soft swelling on my right shoulder, a little bit to the right of where the collar bone seems to attach. When I raise my arm I have a little tightness at that joint. About two months ago when playing noncheck hockey in a mens' league I was struck in the right shoulder with a stick. It hurt momentarily and I continued to play and have been active since with more games, shoveling snow and cutting wood, etc. There is no redness or pain to touch when I feel this lump. Can you help me with this? Thank you. Paolo YYYY@YYYY
