I'm 59 Years Old And Had A Prostate Exam A

I'm 59 years old and had a prostate exam a couple days ago. No nodules and no pain other than the pressure from the exam. My PSA was 4.6. 5-years prior to that it never was higher than 2.9. Could this reading be a false reading? I urinate quite a bit but not to the point where my life is affected. I have been on Flomax regularly for a couple years for an enlarged prostate. The day before the exam I did not take my Flomax. Should I be concerned about prostate cancer? My doctor has referred me to a Urologist.
