I'm 65 And I Have Arthritis In My Hips And

I'm 65 and I have arthritis in my hips and I will be looking into hip replacement this year. But until then I am experiencing a lot of muscle pain in my thighs. Many times radiates down to my knees, then the outside of my calves and to my ankles. I also was told I haven't arthritis in my lower back. Is the constant muscle pain a result of the problems caused by the arthritis? I am not on any statins. I am on diabetes 2 drugs and no drugs. I have not been taking any vitamins or minerals. Could I possibly be lacking in minerals? I now take a percacept one to two times a day for the arthritis pain but it doesn't really help with the muscle pain.
