I’m A 20 Years Old Female. Currently, I’m Taking My

I’m a 20 years old female. Currently, I’m taking my contraceptive pill and this is my first time taking it. I took the pills on the first day of my period (19th August). Usually, my period last only a week and my period blood will get lighter in terms of colour and the amount by the end of it. However, today (27th August) I checked my pad, and the blood on it is still dark in colour and the amount of it is quite a lot (a lot than what I usually have). I’m a bit worried that I will have this prolonged bleeding because I want to be with my partner soon. Is this a normal reaction for a first timer contraceptive pill user? What should I do? Help me :(
