I'm A 32 Year Old Female 5" Tall And 220lbs.

I'm a 32 year old female 5" tall and 220lbs. About 2 months ago my pcp diagnosed me with diabetes after giving me and a1c test in which my level was 6.6. He prescribed me metformin 850mg and lisinapril 50mg. I give myself sugar level test 3 times a day and mainly my fasting level is 92-106 in the mornings, and it generally spikes through out the day depending on what i eat. My main question is should the meds he prescribed me should make me feeling like i have to thrown up whenever i take it even though i take it right after meals? And can u clearify what are normal sugar levels for ppl my age and those who gave a1c levels of 6.6. Can u also tell me what levels are considered too high or too low!
