I'm a 66 yet old male who completed laser surgery on right eye for retinal tear just 6 hrs ago. I can hardly open my eye due to severe pain and light sensitivity. I am so tired but can't sleep as closing my eyes causes severe burning in the eye. My right eye is very red and so painful. What do I do? My dr didn't give any instructions nor meds. Do you think it is infected? Go to ER? It's 11:30 pm.
