I'm A Birth Doula And I Have A Colleague Who

I'm a birth doula and I have a colleague who just called me to say that she is with a client in labour who has scabies. She was not informed by the hospital staff until she had been supporting the client for 12 hours. She has now been with her for 32 hours. The labouring mother would like an epidural but it is being refused due to the scabies. Is there a protocol for epidural during labour?
