Could The Mild Prominence Of The Ventricles Found On My CT Scan Indicate That My Ongoing Headache Is Normalizing After 40 Days?
I’m on day 40 of the same headache. It’s gotten better in the last week but still mildly there. I kept my appointment to have a CT scan today, which came back as normal. Notes included “Mild prominence of the ventricles” which I know is not cause for alarm; however, given the severity and duration of the headache, had I gotten a scan a couple a weeks ago I’m curious if this finding would have been different and not as mild. Could this finding of “mild” indicate that maybe it’s normalizing now? Parts of my head were actually tender and painful to the touch. No one has been able to give me any ideas about a root cause. They just keep pumping me with migraine and sinus infection meds despite my insistence that it’s not a migraine and I don’t have any sinus issues. I’m just frustrated by not knowing why this is ongoing and my second option was a small town family doctor who prescribed me migraine meds that aren’t even affordable. Just seeking some insight.
