In 1989 I Had A Cluster Of Microcalcifications Surgically Removed.

In 1989 I had a cluster of microcalcifications surgically removed. The biopsy indicated no sign of cancer and the tissue was not typical cancer forming tissue. I continued to be followed yearly for a number of years by my surgeon. In 1992 on a routine mammo the microcalcifications were back in same location. After that mammo they were never mentioned in my yearly X-rays. Last week I had another mammo and received a call that I have microcalcifications in the area where they have been. Now I need to go in and have more tests done and possibly a biopsy. I was 45 at the time of microcalcifications coming back for second time. Is it possible that 25 years later, that the calcification were hidden because of the very high density breast that I had? The breast care rep also said that some of tissue edges looked a little ragged.....scare tissue perhaps?
