In 2013 I Apparently Had 3 Asymptomatic Strokes: Two Located

In 2013 I apparently had 3 asymptomatic strokes: two located on the top right and left side of my brain, and one (older one) at the bottom base of my head. I had a TEE which was normal. I I did this "bubble" test which revealed that after 2 1/2 minutes it was evident that they were reaching my brain. I was seen at a Stroke Center but the physicians were unable to explain why these strokes occurred. They referred to them as asymptomatic 'infarcs'. What does "infarcs" mean exactly?
