In The Blood Pressure 120/70 What Does 70 Refers To?
If a person s blood pressure is 120/70, the 70 refers to the pressure: during contraction of both ventricles. during contraction of the left ventricle only. during relaxation of the aorta. lowering between contractions. during contraction of the vena cava.
HI Well come to HCM No that is not the case as you are thinking but 70 is the diastolic pressure and diastole is the condition of ventricles when this comes in state of diastole means it is start filling of ventricles with blood and this is state of declining pressure from systole to diastole (Better can be understood with graph "Slope") hope this could helps you in understanding, take care.
