Hi,

It is not appropriate to force a 30-month-old toddler to sit on the potty every 45 minutes, especially if it is causing fear and distress. Potty training should be a positive and encouraging experience for the child. Using positive reinforcement and letting the child take the lead in their potty training process is essential. It is also important to consider the child's emotional well-being and not to cause them any unnecessary stress or fear.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
