Increased Cortical Echogenicity, Suggesting Fatty Infiltration Liver Disease. Renal Disease Suspected. Advise?

I had an ultra sound on my kidneys right kidney measures 11.8 and left measures 12.3 cm in length they noticed increased cortical echogenicity they are suggesting it could be renal disease they also visualized portion of my liver is noted incidentally echogenic suggesting fatty infiltration liver disease what should my next step be?

Hello!
The next step in your case should be a liver function test and kidney function test. i think you must be having few extra pounds on you or you might be hypertensive, which could explain the reason for having fatty liver.
