Increased Cough, Increased Heart Rate, Lack Of Energy. Pulse 90-100 Without Activity. History Of Diagnosed COPD, Prescribed Symbicort And Nebulizer. Advice
I was diagnosed with COPD several months ago. Have been prescribed Symbicort & nebulizer treatments which have kept it "under control" . The last couple of weeks coughing has increased (no mucus) and heart rate has increased frequently. Today have taken BP several times & pulse is ranging from 90-100 with no activity - no energy obviously .. Don't know what to do.
The increased heart rate may be a side effect of the medications you are on i.e., the nebulizer meds and the symbicort. I would call you doctor and ask about Xopenex for your nebulizer which does not have the side effect of a rapid heart rate.
