Increased Weight, Abdominal Fat, BP, Flatulence, Swollen Cheeks. History Of Plantar Fascitis. Occasional Smoker. What Steps Should Be Taken?
Hi I am 29 years old. 5' 8" tall. Used to be an occasional smoker (once a month kinds) . Quit smoking permanently since one year. In the past 2 years i have had the following problems.
1. Put on weight . (Increased from 68kgs to 75kgs) 2. Have GI issues like Loose dark Stool, flatulence (IBS?), Pass stools an average of 2 times a day, 3. Increased Abdominal fat 4. Slightly Increased Blood Pressue (Current 130/90 ) 5. Observe Some days swelling in cheeks 6. Suffering from Plantar fasciitis (Since 6 months with slow gradual improvement with soft footwear)
Should i be concerned ??? What corrective steps should i take?
History Kidney Stones since 3 years (Passed 1 stone every year. 6-7 mm in size)

hi, the symptoms what you have mentioned causing some concern to me. it looks like endocrinal problem, i.e Acromegaly due to increased Growth hormone production. and increased kidney stones, may be due to hyperparathyriodism. See your endocrinologist for this, to rule out the endocrinal problems. good luck.
