Infant. Crying With Holding Stomach, Better After Giving Laxette. On Allergex Syrup For Runny Nose. Concerning?

Helo dr , my 2 and half year old month grandchild got allergex syrup fr runny nose but I've given it to him every nyt in he's bottle and nw I c he cries and holds he's stomach wich he neva did probably cramps / constipation ? So wen I gave him litle laxette he felt beta but nw pain above he's naval starting again and I'm worried shud I stop giving it to him ?

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
As I have seen such type of cases , infant is crying because difficulty in breathing due to congestion ( allergy & running nose are indication that little one has got bronchoconstriction ).
Laxative only relieve some sort of mild constriction in abdomen hence little one feel better in lungs also.
In my opinion laxative is not good for so little, so consult a paediatrician and get his opinion and treatment .
Usually bronchodilators ( meant for infants) will provide relief.
