Infant. Severe Cough, Mucus In Nose, Difficulty Breathing. No Help From Citricin Syrup, Asthakind, Nasoclear Drops. Advice

Hi My 7 month old child is having severe caugh and mucous in nose and sufferring to breathe. crying without sleep all night.
Doctor suggested citricin syrup (2.5 ml at night) and Asthakind (10 drops 3 times a day) and nasoclear drops (2 drops each nose , 3 times) . Still my child is not seems to be getting recovered . Please advise whether the medication can be continued or need to visit doctor again? Please advise

Hi,
If there is no improvement with decongestant syrup and drops he might require one antibiotic medicine course.
Consult your doctor and get examined for having congestion in lungs.

U should continue above medicines but if ur child is irritated crying some voice coming out of chest when breathing having fever look at chest if gap beetween ribs seems that someone is pulling from inside then i suggest u to take him to expert once again and get him checked.
