Suggest Remedy For Severe Cough At Night Causing Difficulty In Breathing
My dad gets a bad cough during the night. The cough is from a cold. He coughs so bad that he has difficulty breathing that he can t catch his breath. What can he do to stop these cough at night and what can he do if he has difficulty breathing when coughing so much?

It seems that your dad might be having bronchitis producing cough and difficulty in breathing.
He might require one course of antibiotic medicine and some bronchodilator medicine to get relief from his problem.
Avoid smoking if he has habit of it.
Avoid cold drinks and spicy food.
Ask him to do deep breathing exercises.
