Infant Cries Continuously, Has Vomiting. Diagnosed To Be Intussusception. Is This Normal?
Hi Doctor, My 7 months baby yesterday onwards he started crying lot for almost for an hour and voimited once in the evening. We took to the doctor and he informed that it maybe Intussusception and admit to hospital. We came back from hosiptal in the night till now he did not cry, and he is having breast milk propely. Is this Intussusception or normal stomach ache. what to do next?
Hallo
Thanks for your query.Your 7 months old child had vomiting and your family physician suspected to have a intussusception. Please note that in intussusception child passes red color blood in stools mixed with mucus.just like a jelly.and severe pain in abdomen.Since your child did not have this problem there is no possibility of him having it,This could be simple episode of gastritis
