Infant Got Fever, Given Oxidil Injection, Gets Rashes. Is It Side Effect Of Injection?

hi, i want to get information about oxidil injection? my daughter is 1 and half year old, she got fever 102 degree, doctor treated her with oxidil injection, fever slowly down but now situation is her body gets red spots or rashes somewhere with fever up and down. what you suggest?

There are couple of possibilities. The rash could be due a viral infection which can present like this. Oxidil can cause skin rashes too. Most rashes in children with fever is due to viral infection. I wouldn't call this a drug reaction. If the rash is very itchy you can use antihistamines. Hope she is feeling better now
