Infant Had Distended Stomach With Weight Loss Problem. Worms Found In Child's Diaper
My infant son was diagnosed with a milk protein allergy, he has a very distented stomach and was in the hospital recently for weight lose. Just today we found a 6 inch round worm in my two year olds diaper. Can my infant son be suffering from worms?

Any baby more than 3months old can have round worms as the life cycle of round worm is about 3 months.
to maintain sanitation and personal hygiene is more important because it spreads from prison to person after the eggs are embryo acted in the soil.
treatment with albendazole 200 mg given at bed time after food and repeated once after 15 days.
Vitamin supplements are needed after worm infestation.
