Infant Having Congestion And Cough With Pink Skin. Doctor Visit Required?

My 4.5 month old has congestion, a cough, but no fever. Coughed hard enough that she threw up a couple of times. Been stuffy since yesterday morning, with the other symptoms appearing a little later. Should I take her to the hospital? Her skin color is still pink.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic
It looks like cold.
Steam inhalation 2-3 times a day is good for relieving congestion.
You may give some antihistaminic syrup like flucold and paracetamol 2-3 times/day.
when the fever is high or if the baby develops fast respiration >50 times /minute then you need to see a pediatrician and sometimes hospitalisation may be necessary.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Please feel free to ask any more queries if required
