Infant Having Cough. How To Get Cured?
My son is 7 months old and today I noticed a cough it sounds sorta like drainage in his throat I have given him cough medicine and it barley helped he s also teething so he s drolling a lot but I was wondering what I could do or give him to help get rid of his cough

Hi dear.
Welcome to the HCM,
Steam inhalation frequently,
Nebulization with bronchodilators and mucolytic drugs like ambroxol will help
Antihistaminic and decongestant syrups to be given,
Avoid cough suppressants syrup containing dextrometharphan or codiene etc.
If the child is having fever or he having lot of expectoration then one can think of giving some relevant antibiotic but only with consultation and supervision of your pediatrician.
