Infant Sick With Herpengina And Hand Foot And Mouth Disease. What Should I Do To Reduce The Vomiting Which Has Been Since One Month?

I have a 3 year old son who was sick with Herpengina then went to hand foot and mouth. He has been sick for over a month. His sores are gone. His fever comes and goes. We can not get him to drink or eat anything. And when he does drink something he vomits it up? He can not keep anything down. He has been vomiting at least twice a day for a month. We've taken him to doctors. What do I do?

Greetings of the day

Presence of persisting vomiting in a child its important to rule out gastroesophageal reflux
Suggest you to see a Pediatrician or Pediatric Surgeon.

I would also suggest you to give him solid and semi solid foods, it does decrease reflux.
Trial of anti-secretory and anatacid like Pantoprozole+Domperidone is worth a try

In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life

Take Care
