Infant Sleeps At Night Only, Wake Up Early Morning, Does Not Rest All Day At All, Given Entamizole Suspension. Will It Help?
hello sir. my doughter is 8 months old .just does not know sleeping .she sleeps at night only..wake up early morning about 5 am and does not rest all day at all.keeps moving here and there and ever one who sees her says she very smart for her age .if you see the clock from 5 am to 7-8 pm she cant stay put for more than a Minute .even if she sleeps during day its not more than 15-20 minutes. i was given the drug over the counter name (ENTAMIZOLE SUSPENSION) which contains(:..Diloxanide furote b.p 250 mg..Metrinidazole Benzotate bp .320 mg..equivalent to metronidazole 200 mg.....) to help her sleep . iwould like to have your opinion on this by way i live in pakistan.

Hi,
Your 8 months old child sleeps for 10 hours at night and day time half an hour.
You need not worry about that,because she is active and she does not have abnormal irritable behaviour.
However if she shows extremes of behaviour you need to show her to pediatrician /Neurologist.
Don't give Entamizole suspension it is indicated only in child diagnosed to have diarrhea /Dysentery.
Proper time table, for sleep time,ambience of room , light music all will help you to make her sleep during day time
