Infant Vaccinated For OPV, Rotavirus, Dpt, HIb And Hep B2. Will It Harm The Child?

My baby is one month one day old on 13 Aug 2013. By mistake he was given vaccinations for opv, rota virus, dpt, hib, hep b2. I want to know is there any harm to the child? Will the vaccines provide the desired effect? If the vaccines for dpt,hib and rota virus are administered again after 15 days i.e. six weeks after child birth then will it be harmful for the baby and will the vaccines be effective?

Nothing to worry and there will be no harm in giving these vaccines at the of one month.

But the effectiveness of these vaccines in producing the protection may not be up to the expected one.

My advise is to consult the pediatrician first and plan the next schedule of vaccination as per his advise.

There will not be any harm from the vaccines but it is not clear how effective they might be. They should be repeated as these doses do not count toward the expected number of doses. Future dose will continue to be just as effective and should be continued on schedule.
