Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Congratulations for breast feeding your baby. A baby needs exclusive breast feeding only till 6 months. There after complimentary feeds need to be started. It is already late for you to start other feeds for your baby. Breast feeding does not provide necessary calories after a age of 6 months. Continue to breast feed till 2 years.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
