Hi doctor! I recently went to the doctors to get help for my ear piercing infection. He gave me foban cream to apply. I applied and it worked on my piercing infection however, my cartilage in starting to itch and puss is coming out from it... It s not painful or anything but it s really itchy and red... Has the infection spread? What should I do now?
The above signs and symptoms like redness, increased itching, discharge of pus all the above suggestive of infection... the wound must be dressed regularly... care must be taken.. do not neglect it... topical application of vancomycin cream may be useful.. consult your ENT surgeon...
