Hello,
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.
You are suffering from Bilateral
Serous Otitis media.
It is usually non infectious condition, thus antibiotics not helps.
But some times upper
respiratory tract infection is associated and antibiotics are needed.
You might have either the blockade or malformation in Eustachian tube.
It is a tube which connects the middle ear and our throat.
When this tube is not working properly, it prevents normal
drainage of fluid from the middle ear, causing a build up of fluid behind the
eardrum.
Your doctor put the
Myringotomy tube in left ear to drain this fluid.
It is self limited and will get cleared in 3 to 4 weeks.
Once the fluid is cleared, your doctor will remove the tube.
Nothing to worry about this.
Hope this helps.
Please write back for further queries.
Wishing you good health.
