Inflammation Of Throat, Cyst On Tonsil. Previous Congestion, Sore Throat. Dangerous?

I went to the ER last night and I was told I have inflammation of the throat and a cyst on the tonsil is this dangerous and could it be cancer. Do I need surgery or does it go away by its self? Anyway for months now I had congestion and went to the doctors but they said it was viral but it just never went away . I have had a sore throat for 2 months .

thee can be chronic tonsillitis or chronic sinusitis
in sinus also there is post nasal drip leading to congestion of tonsils
and also gastro intestinal reflu can bring back acid to throat which can cause cyst in tonsil
you can manage this by taking cap doxi 100 mg bd for 7 days
tab allegra 120 mg od syp piriton 1 tsf night
syp gelusil 2 tsf ts
meftal sos for fever
stop doxi after 7 days other 3 wk
in the time you get xray pns waters view if sinuses go for treatment and if no sinuses and recurence then you can think of surgery
no chances of cancer
