Inflammatory Pain With Itching In The Leg Which Started With Pink Dot And Worked Its Way Inside Out. Full Body Also Itches. Biopsy Negetive. Have Lykin In Some Parts Of The Body And The Cream For This Doesnt Help For This Itch. What Should I Do?
Hi, I guess, I am in a lot of pain and itching in my leg and it is inflamed now but started from a small pink spot and worked from the inside and worked its way to the surface of my skin and eats away at my flesh. My intire body itches though. I have had five biopsies taken and they cannot find out what is wrong. The pain and itching and the burning is very hard to keep struggling with. I have had this for three years when it first started in my left leg. I have Lykin in some parts of my body from bio several years ago. The cream for that does not help for this. So I do not believe it is lykin. I have not had surgery but I did go to emergency for Ecoli so I was told. Very sick. I have been sitting at a desk for many years. Without exercising. Please help me. I really understand your problem sir, but you need not worry about it this is not going to do any harm to you and will come around soon, you just need to come out of the anxiety and depression this the first thing you really need to do, I would advise you to start taking the "Hydroxyzine" tab. 10 mg three times in day and "Amitriptyline" one tab. at bed time, I am sure this will help you a lot, do not give off your hope even if this treatments takes little more time for effects to come, have good day.

I can understand your concern for the multiple of the problem of skin you are suffering from.
Skin biopsy is the ultimate answer to all type of skin problem and if it is not significant in ay of five biopsies then you need not to be worried about. This actually is a sign that you do not have nay skin serious ailment as such.
After reading the complete problem I can make out that you are either suffering form "contact allergic dermatitis" or simple xerosis at the age of 75 years.
For the betterment you need to take proper treatment from dermatologist. Topical steroids will be need to take care of the problem.
In between do warm compresses for multiple times a day and apply any bland moisturizing cream such as liquid paraffin for multiple times a day.
You will be alright by proper dermatological care.
