Hello, i got an ingrown toenail treatment 2 days ago at a nearby podiatrist office. At night, i noticed that the toe i got the treatment on (the big toe) was swelling up and becoming hard. Another thing ive noticed was that the freezing i got on the toe at 10:30 that morning wasnt wearing off at all. The next morning, the swelling at the bottom of the big toe became sore and achy. I soaked my feet in epsom salt water as instructed, and the same big toe began to blister all over. So i called the office and they told me to come in and theyd drain the blister. The same doctor told me that he might have bandaged the toe too tight after the treatment and that the anesthesia was stuck under the skin on my toe. He made 3 tiny cuts and began to drain the blister and told me id feel a lot better after. I came home and noticed that the toe was swelling up again even worse. I really dont know what to do anymore. It s really painful.
