Hi my name is Julian and I injured my Glute about 1 month ago around late july from weighted deep squats multiple times a week and walking up hill. One day I was walking up leaning forward with my bike uphill for 30 mins and felt a slight strain in my glute but could not tell next day I did multiple sets of squats and on last set felt it overstretch on the bottom but it was not thats bad I did not even know it was an injury. 2 days later i squated again this time I felt slight overstretch type of feeling not to bad on the first set by the time i did my other sets of 5 sets of 7 it hurt alot. These were not warm ups they were heavy sets. I had terrible pain especially during the botttom position and lockout and than 2 days later i did squats again and at this point it was so terrible i just could not get through it even my warm ups hurt so badly even bending down with my body hurt especially being on 1 foot so i squated that day warm ups hurt kept going did not know it was an injury so i did 7 sets of 5 reps, and it was so hard by the time i was on my 3rd set i felt like dying in pain but i finished all 7 and the last 3 sets my leg was in so much pain it was shaking my right one with the weight on back especially during the lockout after i was done i stretched and still did not think it was an injury untill i searched on google than i decided to not squat the next day so i took 1 week off felt slightly better but still terrible so i took another week off still bad so i took another week off and was kind of dumb and jumped alot and swam alot but swimming does not hurt it. So i took another week off and tried squating today no where near as low as last month but it did not feel comfortable around parralel my right glute felt very stiff and cant move explosivly. The injury at this moment feels very tight when i kind of bend down cimilar to a deadlift or bend down any position or any hamstring stretches makes it stiffen up Im thinking about getting an mri test. I have lost alot of function in certain movments. I cant sprint or move explosivly and when im on 1 leg and bend down to touch the ground really feel it stiffin up the pain is no where near as bad as last month now its more stiffness than pain but still have not regained full function. I have not lost much strength i got this injury 35 days ago. Also walking kind of makes it stiff i take narrow strides to but its no where near as bad as last month I had to limp.
