Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Three weeks ago I injured my right knee... I heard a pop and it has not been right since. There was initial swelling for the first two weeks, no bruising. Now it feels like a toothache (think cold air on a nerve without the cold air) the pain is getting worse and the injured knee is very warm. I am getting an MRI in 3 days, do I have anything to be immediately concerned about due to the warmth of the injury sight??
Hi, it appears to be the infection of the knee due to the injury. Hot knee, and pain suggests the infection. I advise you to consult an orthopedic surgeon for diagnosis and treatment. Avoid taking potato, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods. Thank you.
