Inter-menstrual Bleeding, Nausea, Sickness Post Car Accident. On Birth Control. Causes?

My 30 year old daughter who is healthy was in a car accident yesterday and is now experiencing bleeding and it s not time for her period ( she is on the pill ) she s very nauseous and just feels sick. What could be wrong if anything. The car was totaled and she was driving. Hospital did pregnancy test and she is not pregnant.
