Hi, I m experiencing intermittent dizzy spells, doesn t matter if I m standing up or sitting down.......it feels as though my eyes are flicking from side to side and it lasts about 30 seconds each time.......it can happen either once a day or it can be constant throughout the day, it started about 3 years ago and I can go months without anything happening, I ve had an ecg and blood tests and they have all come back clear.
Dear rachel.marples, Thanks for posting the question. The intermittent dizzy spells that you mentioned along with the eyes flicking side to side are typically seen in deep infections of the middle and inner ear. The most likely diagnosis in your case is vestibular neuronitis for which you will hve to consult an ENT specialist.
