Irregular And Abnormal Period, Blood Clots. Had Contraceptive Injection. What Is The Meaning?

Hello! I was on the pill and started forgetting to take it, every now and again i would take one or two then decided to stop them because i was forgetting them so much. I then had no periods for about 2/3 months.I had the contraceptive injection in July and my period only started again last week, it's been quite heavy and had a blood clott in. Is this just because its the first one i've had in a while and it's heavier ect?

Hello m'am.

You are clearly suffering side effects of the contraceptive pills, you need to visit your doctor and get your hormone levels checked.

A few other investigations might be required to be able to adequately address your condition. Please visit your doctor as this would be the most logical next step.

I am sorry I could not be of much assistance.

Best wishes.
