Irregular Heart Beat. EKG, Stress Test Suggested. Gurgling In The Left Side. Any Heart Problems?

I just recently went to my cardiologist and after hearing an irregular heart beat. He has scheduled me for electro cardio gram, a stress test and a 24 hr monitor. Which will all be done next week. Lately I have been feeling a gurgling feeling on my left side near the heart and was wondering if it is related to the heart???

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Gurgling sounds usually emanate from the intestines.
They are at times heard / felt - in the abdomen - at times in the chest...because the chest and abdomen are just separated by the diaphragm. The liver is immediately below the diaphragm on the right / stomach (& colon) on the left - hence the feeling more on left.

There could be other causes for chest gurgling, but they are rare and have other associated pointers...
Go ahead with the EKG, Stress test and Holter for definite conclusions

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
