Irregular Period, Bleeding Pattern Changes. Can Go For Pause Xt?. Suggestion?
hello dr. my daughter is 20 yrs old..her periods are on for the last 1 & 1/2 months..though not always very heavy ... the pattern keeps changing every day...some of the days there is spotting while on some days its more..could you advice if she can take pause xt to stop the bleeding?? could you tell me the dosage also...thank you.

Pause xt contains mephenamic acid which would help in relieving abdominal cramps during the periods. Usually it is used up to 2 pills per day.
With regards to the irregular periods of your daughter, I would suggest to measure her hormones level and get the most appropriate hormonal treatment.
