Irregular Periods. Dry Flakes Of Blood And Now Nothing. Should I Be Worried?

I take birth control and I only had a little bit of spotting during the placebo pills, and my periods have been irregular so I wanted to wait to take it again until I had my period so I could get myself back on track. Well I haven't taken it for 6 days and today I was cramping like I was PMSing, but when I went to the bathroom there was just dry flakes of blood and now nothing. Should I be worried?

Hi,
Please do not take the pills until you exclude pregnancy. After excluding pregnancy, please consult a specialist as to the combination to be used and also a local examination to exclude other causes. Menstrual disturbances are a side effect of oral contraceptives, especially during the early months. This is aggravated by obesity and lack of exercise. Please maintain a healthy weight and do some regular exercise. Hope your query has been clarified. Wish you good health.
