Irregular Periods, PCOD, Missed Periods, Lower Back Pain, Spotting. Pregnancy Symptoms?
I am 26 yrs old, married and have a child.I was earlier diagnosed of having PCOD and I normally have irregular cycles. Now it is 60 days since I got my periods. I have done a urine test thrice and all seem negative. However, of late I have developed the following symptoms: lower back pain , nausea and dizziness(sometimes) , oily skin, a light spotting twice,frequent mood swings and irritability . Could I be pregnant?

Even though you are diagnosed with PCOD and have irregular cycles, you can still get spontaneous ovulation and if you had your child through natural conception, this is even more possible. Urine tests cannot always give positive results in early pregnancy as they are not so sensitive. As you have some symptoms suggestive of pregnancy, I advice you to see a gynecologist for a check up and a sonogram as well as blood tests for pregnancy. Take care.
